THE INTERVIEW
A post I saw recently about the Devil and his role made me pause and reflect, and I began to wonder how I truly see him, especially as an energy reader, and what that means for consequence, responsibility, and the way people interpret what they call “evil.”
The last article I wrote talked about the Devil. We spoke about the analogy of a librarian and the understanding of where the Devil has power, which, to recap, is desire and human ego.
This article will introduce Satan and Lucifer, wrapping up this topic and onto the next.
I want to emphasize the reason for this topic, or clarify if you’ve been confused. I am an energy reader, healer and intuitive under God’s will. I can recognize and conceptualize super-broad, misunderstood, and often mislabeled ideas, energies, and entities. I want to make it clear that my goal in sharing this is to raise awareness so that you can choose what you believe. Especially while we see Lego skits where the Statue of Liberty is depicted as a goat-headed evil (P.S. that is Ba’al, not Satan).
The goal is that in the midst of everything going on and the freedoms being stripped from us, we remember our power, our faith, whatever that might be, and our choice. And to make a choice, we first should recognize what the choices are. Because it's easy to say everything is Satanic, but it is not the truth. Not every demonic entity is Satan, and your awareness is crucial to being able to make the right decision for you.
Let’s begin.
There is a strong cultural image of Satan as ruler of the burning hell, permanent torture, and inflictor of punishment without end. That is usually the first thing people go to. But I don’t think it’s accurate to how the system actually functions.
Most people, on top of misrepresenting him, fear Satan. The same way people fear God, when really both require respect, not fear. If you are living a life you are proud of, aligned with yourself, then you don’t actually have anything to fear in this system.
Satan is not operating in the same layer as desire or influence. In the way I’ve been mapping it, the Devil is tied to desire and intent, Lucifer is tied to mind and perception, distortion, and influence of thought and meaning. Satan is different from both of those. Satan is direct. Cut and dry. He is not metaphorical in function.
The Devil and Lucifer operate while you are alive. Satan does not. Satan is after life is complete.
In this understanding, Satan measures your life’s imprint. A life imprint is everything you actually created while alive—your actions, your intentions, your emotional alignment, and your internal participation, even on things you may never physically act on.
Even curiosity is part of that.
This is where I think people miss the weight of internal life. If you feel curiosity toward something disturbing, for example, the question is not just “is this me or not me,” but why is this arising? If you felt curiosity about something like rape, is it because you have lived experience with it, and it’s a twisted reclamation of power through curiosity? Do you feel like you need to be empowered in that space? And if so, where is that coming from, and who is shaping that thought? Because yes, intrusive thoughts can come from others, and hence why energetic sovereignty is so important.
Because Lucifer operates in that space. The mind games, the trickster, the snake in your mental garden. Lucifer. The mental embodiment allows or even interjects thoughts that feel like they are yours, but the direction they take you in is not actually natural to your spirit. But it’s not a bad thing, you see. Because Lucifer is your illumination, “how bad do you really want it?” “How easy is it to swerve you away from YOU?” Because influence can be powerful, but the goal is always authenticity.
So it becomes important to constantly be curious: is this me feeling this, someone else feeling through me, or is this something being introduced into my mind that I am then attaching identity to?
Living awareness is what creates choice. If I know what ABC leads to, will I still choose it? That level of awareness changes everything about responsibility.
And having a clear and accurate image of what and who is responsible is a huge part of that. Because otherwise, everything becomes blurred, and you can’t actually see what you are participating in.
The goal is to recognize how you’ve been misinformed, be intentional with your life, and always remember agency.
Now we'll return to that later, but let's get back to our first topic.
Satan’s role is what happens after all of that. When life is finished, what remains is the full imprint of what was lived. And through that, what becomes is the consequence. Not symbolic punishment, not metaphorical suffering, but direct reflective balance of what was created. Because through this, the energetic imprint of source, God, Son, Holy Spirit, humanity, Devil, Satan, Lucifer, and every energetic imprint in between, is balanced to maintain a universal harmony.
Before Christ, this was understood more as permanent fire-and-brimstone damnation. After Christ, that shifted—it became something that could be healed, balanced, or resolved rather than simply endless punishment.
Let me explain. The general understanding of Christ’s sacrifice is that he took away our sins. But that’s not the case. We still sin, we still have the ability, intent, and experience the act of sinning, whether that be against the Commandments, Universal Laws, or simply, Good vs. Bad. Before the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross, damnation, or Hell, was what we imagined it to be from the media. Fire, brimstone, pain, torture, but most importantly, eternal. Final. Christ’s sacrifice allowed that to be cleared. So, what does that mean?
We all go to hell. We are all “sinners”. We all must pay for the imprint of pain, hatred, and darkness we place upon others, ourselves, and the earth while we’re alive. Christ’s sacrifice allows us to balance our darkness, and depending on how you see it, go to heaven, become one with Source, or reincarnate for a new purpose. The thing about this is that through this, we can all be saved. Under one condition. We must pay for our sins. We must balance out the darkness. Someone who doesn't need much balance might have less work to do than someone who initiated the murder of civilizations or the oppression of communities, but each person will have to pay their dues either way.
This is also known as karma.
So in other terms, Satan is divine retribution, not as an evil punisher, but as a truly objective judge and executioner (executing action/ judgement, not people). In my last article on this topic, I spoke of the ego and how blame gets put on these energies because people deny the impact they've had. In the Hebrew Bible, Satan is referred to as “The Accuser," which fits perfectly into our image of judgment, where you are the “accused” being shown in all ways that maybe you didn’t even know you had hurt someone or impacted another.
I want to emphasize deeply that IMPACT and INTENTION are two different things, and while people try their best, mostly, they still have to pay for their impact, and how they respond to the consequences (good or bad) of their actions throughout their entire lives.
And it's not something to be scared of, because with accountability, we find a calmness that we can be an active part of our destiny, and that is truly special.
I want to circle back to what I mentioned in the Devil article, where I mentioned that this archetype/breakdown is similar to God / Son / Spirit, in the sense of “as above, so below,” where each affects a different space. As God is mind, Son is body, and Spirit is spirit, Devil is body, Lucifer is mind, and Satan is spirit, as in those are the areas in which they operate from an energetic perspective
Now let's dive back into Lucifer, the most misunderstood from the energetic understanding.
Lucifer, the Latin meaning “light-bearing,” was, as we commonly say, once an angel. One of the best, one of God’s “favourites,” it’s been said. He was also called the “Morning star,” which I find fitting, morning as in beginning, star as in illumination — not light as something given, but illumination as something revealed — the first moment truth becomes visible. It’s also not light in the way people frame it as something pure or good; it’s illumination — the exposure of what is already there, whether you want to see it or not.
But then why the fall? Was it, as it's been told, that Lucifer thought himself better than God? Or could it have been that the “morning star” or “initial illuminator" was again perceived as evil for exposing all truth? Is that why we have free will and no longer only follow God’s will? Because we now see that choices exist? And is it fair to blame Lucifer or call him inherently evil for wanting to go against even God to allow us, innocent and ignorant of all of the universal process, to have agency if agency was what was promised? Why would God give us limited free will? And yes, this is absolutely Pandora’s Box, we now have shame and grief and rage that can hurt, violate ourselves and others, but, and very nuanced, but doesn't that allow us the freedom we crave? To have the ability to hurt and not to do it? Lucifer advocated for complete autonomy because seeing both sides is required for real choice. Lucifer confirms if what you want is what you want and offers a reflection of intent as the Devil does.
In this sense, Lucifer is knowledge, perception and a luminary symbol. So when he shows up, it’s as a distraction, diversion, disobedience and seduction. He distorts meaning to allow you the opportunity to see the truth. If you deny the truth you see, it's not Lucifer you blame, but accountability within yourself. He asks you, "Do you see that the food is frozen? Do you see the spoon bending to meet the food? How far will you go to deny the frozen food? How long will you act like it's alright?” For some, it's when the spoon breaks. We call that a mind and/or soul fracture, psychosis, insanity, or spiritual bypassing. One way people avoid these fractures is vices, drinking, sex, anything that does what? You guessed it… Changes, alters, or for as long as they can, denies their perception of truth. So yes, Lucifer helps make you an alcoholic. But help is the important part. Because if you only had the will God gave you, you’d simply face your spirits instead of trying to drown in them, but also be agreeable and not accountable.
It’s also important that Lucifer comes in through intrusive thoughts, whether that be appropriate or violent or just outside of your character, he places these there to see how sure you are about your truth. Whether that be through himself or by using others to infiltrate your psyche. Because yes, when he fell from heaven, he was bound to hell, and in that, his luminary essence also became that of a trickster. So the lessons remained, but the way they were revealed became more cruel, hateful, and even dangerous.
And again, why? Because even after exile, his pre-fall identity was to illuminate, to ignite, and to show you the truth, for then, and yes, only then can YOU make the conscious decision to do or not do, to say or not say, and to be… Or not be.
So Satan is not something to fear in the way people usually think. He is not interfering with your life. He is not testing you at the moment. He is not influencing your choices.
And Lucifer isn’t just deceiving you for the fun of it. He’s offering you a choice, not guiding you, not pushing you, but simply placing an awareness. The choice then lies within you.
Let’s do a quick wrap-up. We start with intent and desire, which the Desire Librarian, Devil, sees and offers. Then Lucifer, the Perception Puppeteer, offers the opportunity to see the truth, and once choices are made, Simple Solution Satan wraps up all your impact and offers a path toward universal harmony postmortem, allowing, through the blood of Christ, to be renewed and cleansed.
What matters is what you create while you are here. And as I wrap up, I understand these things are all much easier said than done. Hence, this article is to help show you a path forward through understanding some key stepping stones.
And that always comes back to awareness, autonomy, and accountability. The Devil, Lucifer and Satan.
